    Narrow highbeams?

    Hey guys,
I've always found that the high beams (i.e. the ones where you have to flick the stalk forward) on my polo have been pretty dismal. Sure, they go high, but they light doesnt really seem to get spread any further left or right than the regular beams. It hasn't really been a concern until now because im headed up to the snow after work in a couple weeks time. Has anyone found that this is the case? Is there any way to spread the light a bit more? I don't really think making them brighter is gonna help much more.

high beams tend to give brighter light towards left hand side.

wouldn't you want an even spread left and right? Since high beams are really only to be used when there's zero light and no cars around to dazzle

I have found the same, if you are driving on a corner with no road lights, there is not much help in showing whats not in front of your lights...

I found that additional lights are the only fix. I used Cibie Oscars (bolt on daylight) for my overnight interstate trips...
