Nice wheel, even if a knock off! I thought they were work CR Kai but I don't think they come in your pcd.

Hey mate, what tyres are you running on the 17x8 rims? Looking at some Avid models and just looking at width and tyre size that won't scrub

Just change the wheels before the assessor gets there.

cheapies that came with the rim 215/40/r17 not much rubber in them they do look nice. in hindsight i should of went for 17x7 because of the width i lose power the car runs faster on the 16x6.5 stockies but thats ok still happy they look great!

edit: they are avid av32's 35mm offset in hyper black, the car is dropped 20mm's very minor scrubbing on large potholes and dips i could fix it with some trimming and gluing but carnt be bothered at the moment

Apart from the car being smacked on the side but the rims looking perfectly new...

Cheers for the feedback. I'm looking at lowering and rims and just worried about scrubbing as well. Interesting comment re the width and pace of the car. How do you find the grip/handling with a wider wheel/tyre combo?

handles better on 8 inches but you lose abit of power, u can get 25mm drop no problems, if you wanted 35mm or more you are going to have to start chopping that plastic liner inside the wheel arch most likely get'em pumped abit too.

on mine at 20mm drop on a large dip or pothole the front tyre will hit a screw thats on the top of the wheel arch, inside its holding a piece of plastic liner on i could chop it off and fix it but im going to leave it because i lets me no its scrubbing and i need to slow down lol happends at speed and on really ****ty roads.
