Oh dear, lost mine in a fight with a red-light runner last week too.

    Very sad.

Yuck - I had a drivers rear quarter dinged late last year.

Stunning how expensive it was to fix!

Make sure you go to a repairer who knows what they are doing - I went to The Bump Shop and would not go again. Used to be one of Brissys best body shops.

There is a Euro specialist on the north side whom I had a quote from and was impressed by - they were just too busy for me to get my car in for the time frame I needed (wished I'd gone with them as they seemed very professional & work on VW's all the time). I'll find the name and let you know.

There's another on the West side - "Eurobody" in Sumner Park, ... do great work.

This is them - very impressed when I had a quote done. Lots of VERY expensive vehicles throughout the yard as well as more humble Euro stuff and very, very busy.

Thanks guys will check them out... The bumper has a lot of paint off it but it's the rear 1/4 I am more worried about... No paint damage but there is a crease (two ripples) above the apex of the right rear wheel arch. I am hoping they might be able to pull the panel too once they get them bumper off and/or the crease 'pops' out. The rear bumper gap appears to be 1/6" out just below the tail light but all other panel gaps are fine!! I don't really want the panel filled and sprayed

And yes got her numberplate - just have to go to the cops and get the details otherwise I am up for the excess..

My quarter sounds like it was more dinged than yours.

I almost went the fill and paint option as otherwise they literally dismantle half the car to replace the panel. And you need someone who knows what they are doing to pull this off.

The Bump Shop actually did a good job of the repair however they painted the wrong wheel (scratched in the accident and had been rotated since accident), lost the little 'key' to remove plastic whell lug plugs, some internal trim has come a bit loose and there is a little overspray on my fuel cap.

All of which they have readily agreed to fix may I add.

Bad news is I got a quote for $2,300 eeep.... Good news is should be a metal only repair They said they will spray the whole 1/4 (inc. fuel filler) and provide a new bumper...

Found the other driver too today... turns out we just missed each other at the scene... hopefully will be all fixed soon!!
