Aggressive treads are always a welcomed option. How much did you pay per quarter Dave if you dont mind telling?

OMG I can't take this anymore. I want my car now!

Sorry. Awesome tires. Would love to hear back on how well they perform in the wet.

yeah i saw a post a few weeks ago with these...except they were from Jax in Vic. i'm guessing that i could get them from JAX here on the Goldy. nice looking tyres, will definitely have to look into it as i am in need of new tyres.

    otherwise, i can get a good set of federal's at $100 a corner ($170-$190 RRP).....big decision.

Tyres are the only thing that touches the road (unless u drop it too low ) Don't skimp just to save money. I had federals twice on my last 2 cars, felt like I was going to die until they were very well worn.

Here's another question which I should throw out. How many k's can these survive under normal wear and tear conditions? I was initially told my Toyo Proxie4's would only survive about 30,000km's but I've done easily 25,000km's on them without them even coming anywhere near halfway on the wear indicator (and I dont normally corner sedately)...

Polo GTI - dont go the Federals over the Marangoni's. You're better off spending the little bit extra to get that extra performance. I was initially going to put Pirelli P6000's on my Polo but they were far too expensive per quarter (and not aggresive enough tread wise), and then opted for the Toyo's after comparing them to the Michelin's Preceeda, and Eagle's new tire (which for the life of me I cant remember).

NEVER SKIMP ON TIRES! They're the only thing between your car and the road.
