No, the GTI didn't have an MFD.
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if the GTi is supposed to have the MFD screen in the centre of the instrument cluster working? Is there something I need to do in order to turn it on? I'd really like to have one and having a top of the line model I thought it would have been included?
If it's not meant to be there, can I add it by putting one off another car? Alre all the electrics and functionality there and I just need the screen like the ones on eBay? LCD CLUSTER DISPLAY AUDI A3 A4 A6 VW PASSAT POLO T4 T5 | eBay

Ok, so its clear it doesn't have one.
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy that part and retrofit an LCD MFD in the centre of the dash? Or can I replace the whole cluster from another car that has it from the factory? I believe from photos that the GTi Cup Edition has one - Would this be able to be swapped in and set up with a VCDS cable?
I've only just bought my Polo and loving modifying it and driving everyday

Never heard of a Polo having one, but if you think that the Cup has one, that would be a good place to start.

It would be awesome if they did work, the blank mfd is such a waste of space could of at least entered a boost gauge hahaha!
