The gaps are behind the wheel, around where your fingers tips are pointing when you hold the wheel and 9 & 3. Unless you're looking for it you won't notice. As far as using the polo wheel plastic clips, this could be done if you're prepared to use some 3M tape or a touch of glue.

Cheers for that mate. Have you heard of any insurance issues regarding the swapping over or changing of airbag steering wheels?

Called my insurance company regarding any issues with swapping over the steering wheel and was told that its covered and won't void insurance if it doesn't affect the vehicle's roadworthiness and would need to ask vicroads about it. Aparently there's a "change of vehicle description form" to fill out. Guess I might have to do this for the tiller upgrade and brake upgrade?

    Awesome.

Bit more $ than i would have hoped but its a 'down the line' mod for me anyway :p

It is much bigger than the standard Polo wheel, and did you have any problems with installation and finish at all?

As long as it deploys the insurance company wont say anything, but if you get into a frontal accident and it doesn't deploy, and you get hurt, they will most probably look into it.
