    Milltek Downpipe thoughts

Im in the process of getting the Polo ready for a stage 2 CC tune and looking into downpipes atm.

Im figuring a custom one will run around $8-900 (hi-flow cat included) or I can get a Milltek for around the same price, bolt on.

Stage 2 will be as far as I go with power mods so no need to go for 3" or anything.

What are peoples thoughts on the Milltek

    Cheers
    Luke

I think most will agree the miltek ones are good quality, but I think you should ring around a few places and get some pricing to have one fabricated. I'd go coated mild steel instead of stainless (thats all you need IMO) which should save a good chunk of cash over the miltek's pricing.

You could go a custom 3in dump + cat and get it flanged onto the stock rear section. That way you get the benefits of 3in, can keep your initial costs down and always have the option of building a bigger rear section later.
