    FINALLY...

The thread is up to date with how Sooty currently looks and stands. I'm sure I've left out details along the way, but it should give you guys a rough idea of what happened and happening.

This small update is incredibly long overdue.

I've been meaning to get these cut for months. I've almost finished with the OZ's, last things to do are to apply the last of the OEM stickers and to paint the wheel bolts black.

After that, it's time for something that's taken over a year to get around to doing, and finally, it should be arriving in January 2011 - I hope.

    Holy Crap

That looks so hot, the OZ's look amazing, i want them lol

I like the water/methanol setup, I was thinking about one a while ago but kind of forgot about it. Did you notice any difference, or is it just that it allows you to tune more agressivly without fear of detonation

    Well done

Thanks for the comments vwthunder, I love your wheels, we've got a set for the Polo Vivo Tarmac Rally car we are busy building.

I searched long and hard for a set of these. It's funny how when you're not exactly looking, these things tend to crop up.

I love my WMI - it has different roles when comparing diesel to petrol. Let's just my real data as an example:

1st dyno run made 103Kw & 330Nm with the WMI inactive, run 2, which was done 30seconds later, WMI active, she made 114Kw & 360Nm.

    So that's an 11Kw & 30Nm gain, on a stock standard car.

In a petrol turbo application, running WMI aids in raising your octane rating, preventing detonation and allowing more boost and more timing, all of course within reason.

    Ciao, Matteo.

Carbon interior pieces look awesome. Been trying to find them but no luck yet. Do you mind pointing me in the right direction to obtain them? Thanks. Your car looks awesome.
