    (melb) pre-stat. warranty expiration inspection

    Hey all,
I bought a 2nd hand 05 polo gti from a dealer. the 3mo stat warranty runs out in a few weeks.
Are there workshops you guys can recommend in melbourne (im in carlton north) to check it over and can make a list of issues that would fall under warranty? There's nothing specifically wrong with it but better safe than sorry

    Cheers

I did a search but nothing came up with my search terms

Are regular mechanics aware of what issues legally fall under a VIC statutory used car warrantly? I would've thought it would be more of a specialised knowledge

your statutory warranty generally covers things that have failed. If the car is still serviceable and hasnt failed yet then im not sure what point there would be in getting it inspected?

I barely drive, and when i do its only a few ks. I think i drove it today for the first time in 2-3 weeks... Not the best way to see if there's anything wrong with it... Although I have noticed that the steering randomly pulls one way when accelerating and when braking. Im not a car person either so Im not sure what's normal and what isn't
