Are you still on the stock shocks? Did you modify them?
The stock shocks from the Polo GTI still intact.
I had modified a Polo 2.0 front shock, I remove the internals and inserted a Koni's shock.

Can anyone comment on if the wastegate actuator problem / limitation would be fixed by replacing the diverter valve with an aftermarket unit (Forge / APR)?

Not sure of the relationship here here.

Waste gate and diverter valve are two different things. The diverter operates off throttle the N75 is what controls the waste gate for on boost aplications.

Thanks Joe, I'm thinking the N75J valve is probably a good investment.

Is the Festo pressure regulator or something similar worth while for stock Turbo? Can anyone tell me what I'm looking for exactly? I've been poking around the Festo website, lots of products, not sure exactly what specs would suit. They do have a branch in Vic, but I really don't know if its worth my time with my basic mods...

    Finally the bars arrived.
I installed the rear one today, next week I’m going to the front one.
I need to fabricate spacers because the U-bolts are over sized, the threads were not long enough to do a good tight.

I'm developing a new actuator for the WG, something softer. I'm not going to use the N75 to control the turbo.

In the next week I will start the manufacture of the exhaust manifold.

Plautos, I'd be interested to get your feedback on how you find having done just the rear and than adding the front. Was the front an obvious improvement, having done the rear, or to keep it balanced, etc.

I do understand how and why they work, just curious for your reasoning for doing both.
