Man what on earth have you done with the main hoop. It looks like you have cut and welded the joins instead of bending the hoop.

As I said above, the front strut towers are best if tied back to firewall/cage, as then the unibody will act as one component... If you don't do this, anything forward of the firewall will react differently to the rest of the car, as it is not as stiff.
NASCAR started doing this back in the 80's, and made great leaps in stiffness of their race cars
Once the bend procedure compresses and pulls the tube... its structural integrity will be affected… so I decided to use curves. No big deal.
but the real motive was the lack of the right tool to do the job...
if I had a decent machine for bending the tubes... would be another story
