Installed it all in about 2 hours first hour was trying to get the old unit out cos I don't have the proper keys to remove it so I kinda destroyed the original unit lol no bloody knuckles or anything once the unit was out wiring was easy and works like factory and turns off when you remove the key

Just used a universal bracket and bolted it all back together. The bottom of the bracket could use a little trim to make it a little neater but I'm happy with it. Also have the USB cable run underneath the steering wheel on the little shelf so I can charge my phone and plug my iPod into

Got some new tyres today picked up some ku31's so much nicer and smoother than the rubbish I had on there. Next up is repairing and painting the wheels to clean them up a bit

Ok so tomorrow morning I'm taking my car out where my rx7 is and I'm gonna change the box oil 2 see if that fixes some of the problems also it only plays up when it's really hot and I've been driving for an hour from cold the box is perfect and having a hoist makes live easier lol

After that's done we are gonna throw it on the dyno and see what it's got standard before I start playing around with it and the fun begins

I'll leave this here haha. I said the same. "Just a panel filter and I'll call it quits"

Wheels, suspension, Recaros, intake, tune, brakes, 'cooler....

I bid you all the best! Your first item you think you'll change?

Well I'm gonna get a K&N panel filter cos the standard one is not looking 2 good
Plans are for a front mount and get it chipped and I'm sure that will be more than enough for a daily

Imo, stick with paper or move to pod in the box.

I don't understand how a pod in the box would work any better and most standard setups work alright and trying to keep it standard look
Been looking at buying the forge fmic but its says this

This front mounting intercooler kit is suitable for the Mk VII VW Polo 1.8T with a 9N2 chassis, late 2006-onwards.

Mine is a late 05 build 06 model is there any difference or will it be alright?

It's all the 9n3 chassis, same engine, etc so there's no reason it wouldn't fit that I know. May I ask why Forge, the brisbane dyno day thread/s may be worth a read. To paraphrase, great cooling properties but had pressure loss so erratic boost behaviour. The cooling benefit didn't outweigh the pressure loss.

My Seat Sport, along with piping was roughly $600 all landed from UK.
