Nice one! TIP gives it alot more induction noise as well. Iv also got a PD160 feeding the airbox as well.

after seeing Josh's steup i got a little excited and bought a pod and some parts need to trim the hose to make it fit right but looks like it will sit nice but having it bolted straight onto the afm kinda sounds like a wrx down low haha also picked up a new turbosmart boost gauge old one only went to 20psi but looks to go over a little so a 30psi one is going in
on my way home gave my mates sv6 work ute a run and destroyed it lol so its still making power think once i install the TIP it will help a bit but sussing it out over the weekend it doesn't look like a fun job cant even see from up top how to unbolt it from the turbo so gonna have a good look hopefully next weekend if i have time

Well I've put on the pod sound alright down low have that little bit of noise I'll have to make a cover at some point but haven't had time to install the TIP yet hopefully next weekend and I installed a new boost gauge a turbosmart one my old saas one made some weird rattling noise might of been faulty
3rd gear pulls are hitting 21-22psi I changed a few vacuum lines and the car is feeling a lot better now and started to break traction in second today so I'm guessing I might have had a small leak somewhere but the car is feeling much better now
Did you get much turbo noise or just induction (honda like) sounds? Incidentally, what kind of pod did you use?

u can fit the top of the airbox back on with a little bit of die grinding. I also cut a hole in the bottom half to let a little bit of air in.
Thanks mate for the photos might look into that and play around with it when I install he TIP.
and for the noise of the pod just a little bit of grunt down low wasn't expecting too much turbo noise from such a small turbo but the intake will help but I don't mind it.
Think I spoke too soon tho about the car good let work today got a street away and a warning light came on Haven't lost any power or anything but I'll get it scanned again tomorrow most likely something stupid the only thing that has changed is installing the pod but it's been running like that the last few weeks hopefully it's just something silly
Ok I plan on giving the TIP install a go tomorrow doing some reading I'm I bit worried seeing other people's experiences that I'm not gonna be able to get it done in one day seeing as I'll be doing it on my own haha wish me luck lol
I think you might surprise yourself. I struggled, but im not mechanically inclined, and its a cramped space. But the more experienced people seem to get them in ok. even doing it the hard way, it's not going to take a whole day
Well I got the TIP installed took a little over 2 hours doing it on my own wasn't as bad as people have said just a few scratches but no blood loss lol just hope it's sitting on the turbo properly haha took it around the block felt good and as soon as I gave it a hit in second it broke traction so feels like it's made a little difference so I'll see how it feels on my way to work tomorrow.
Only problem was I was short one clamp so I had to put the standard air box back on but I'm not worried the pod can go back on in a few weeks
Had some time today and put the pod back on and made a temporary cover for the box nothing special but will do the job for now
