My name is Dhiren and I actually have a 9n3 polo gti. It is a really fun and awesome car to own. Modding it will definitely unleash it's true power.

    I currently have:
    Unitronic stage 2 software,
    76mm downpipe,
    63mm exh,
A front mount intercooler with upgraded piping,
    Forge splitter recirculating diverter valve,
    A forge turbo-inlet pipe,
A 4 bar fuel pressure regulator and
    A cai.

My car is a really beaut to drive, raced a few bigger cars and surprisingly I was in font of them.

I guestimate that power is around the 165-170wkw mark.

It is what sam said. Get yourself an OBD vagcom cable and we can talk you through running this stuff yourself. The registered version of VCDS lite is US$99, though get the cable first, we can get it working before paying for the registered version. Or buy the VCDS kit from them with the VCDS cable for $250.

Alternatively, look into ME7 Logger, it's a much better logger than VCDS though doesn't scan for fault codes... or just find someone in Sydney who can log your car (as opposed to just scanning it). I'm happy to review your logs once done.

not sure i feel too comfortable playing around of the tune of my daily knowing me something will go wrong lol
so if i get something like this tho i can change and adjust the fuel timing and boost and just plug it in myself? sorry if these questions sound stupid never really done anything with tuning before but might just be safer having the shop do it

You can only lower boost. You can add timing but if you're logging it. There is no way you can blow it up.

what sean and gav said. Logging doesn't fiddle with anything. Believe me if I was going to be logging your car I would touch nada. I'd just be capturing the data of what your car is doing during a power run and that's it. Then the log can be examined for what could be going on.

Probably best that you take it back in the same configuration they last touched it with anyways.

No point changing things and then complaining about it.

You'll need a male to male connector and a small hose clamp for the lower hose connection. The forge ones come with one installed from factory but these don't so it makes life a lot easier if you fit put one in before you install it into the car. I learnt the hard way

Thanks mate yeah I looked into it so I know about the male to male connecter I most likely have spares already from my old cars and I have spare clams laying around if I have the time I might give it a go on the weekend but I'll see what happens with the tune first but I know it's low on power cos the streets I drive too and from work everyday that I like giving it little hits use to fry it now no chance even up to 6k can't even make it chirp in second lol

Well took it into the shop and we have found the problems air flow meter isn't working properly so explains why I've lost so much power down low and the N249 is faulty so playing with the boost I wonder how long it's been like that for and how much power I've been missing out on even on stage 1 haha I get the feeling I'm gonna get a good kick when I get them replaced
