Slightly off topic, but if you're tracking, steer clear of EBC (green) pads. They're a street pad and the packaging states they are NOT to be used on race tracks. They'll mark your rotors at high temps and could possibly come apart (many os examples of that happening, hence the warning on EBC packaging). If you must go EBC, go reds, but Ferodo 2500s are probably the way to go. Brakes on a race track are vital, don't skimp on pads

I just had some PSS9s installed on my car - it's not fully set up yet but I doubt I'll be lowering it further than it is now. Overall it may only be a 10mm drop from the stock GTI springs - I haven't measured it so I'm not 100% sure though.

2 1/2" at the font 3" at the back.

    short springs, custom shocks.

i know we want good handling, but damn it needs to also look good. i mistake these polos for a Terios somtimes.

    Hey gents,

The time has come to lower the gti, its sitting way to high for my licking! I am only interested in lowering it not interested in anything huge for the moment... what is the best way to go about it? I am thinking of just changing the springs... What are your thoughts?

well hey, some people are into that. they get a bit too affectionate with thier cars.

can't find the article but there is a guy who has 'made love' to over 1,000 cars....and obviously only a small portion are his.....now thats ewww

"hey, whats that in my exhaust pipe?"

his current 'girlfriend' (as he calls it), is a herbie replica.

apparently he sees a car during the day that 'needs loving' and he goes back at night time and gives it his all....hahahhaha....creep

speak to Ryan (Blitzen), he has just changed over the springs and says its fine, but some will say otherwise.
