Yep, right after you pull the front bar off the car.

Do the lower side ones have any clips holding them in? I know of the screw holding in the drivers side one, but both of them just won't pull out.

I'm contemplating doing a full bumper removal, but for a first time DIY, it's not something I want to undertake lightly.

I just finished my honeycomb grill installation, had to remove the front bumper as they really do clip that middle grille in with a vengeance, you need to remove it with a flat blade and some forceful knocking.

Unfortunately you cant avoid removing the front bumper but after about 4 hrs of screwing around you will eventually figure it out, use the guide i posted above.

Tip of advice, when putting the bumper back on, align the little clips beneath the head light and use your palm pushing in whilst fitting it its really this simple.

Am loving these honeycomb grills, it just completes the car, the wind deflector for the turbo intercooler doesn't clip into aftermarket grilles, i had to screw mine to the new grille using tiny screws.

    Does the job

you remove the screw on the drivers side, they unclip from the center first. they require a bit of force.

I gave up attempting to remove them for the time being, and am now clearing out the blocked off honeycomb sections, This is going to take me hours, but the end result will (hopefully) be totally worth it.

Starting out I had no idea, and was just cutting at the areas with a stanley knife, then start drilling large holes in the middle....

Suffice to say, I now have it working out to small holes in the corners of the honeycomb, then stanley knife along the edges = smooth streamlined process. I hope to have some time tomorrow night to finish it all off. Then I can start to think about removing the front bumper. That forge guide has been quite helpful, I just need to track down some T25/T30 screwdrivers.
