Haha yeah I do that as well... but this time I was at a workshop, so was surrounded by sufficient equipment.

Pics will come soon, just want to get the car washed.

and here they are.... it was dark in the basement so you can't really see it well. i'm a bit boozed and have to pack for melb tomorrow (5am start) so I did a pretty quick crap job of photographing and editing them. when i get back from holidays i will take some piccies in the daytime. I reckon this is about as beefed up as you can get on the front end of a Polo

oooh, you can also see the tread of my new Pirelli P-Zero Nero's I got put on today. $550 for just the front two

    Looks awesome!

I just picked up mine today, thank Tim and Seb for storing it until I was able to pick it up today

I need a hoist, CBF taking off the front bar. Does it matter what bolts you use?

Hooray lip installed today !! Thanks Tim !!

BTW those spring clips (4) underneath were a bastard to get off and back on. As well, I forgot the foglight needed to be disconnected so I was scratching my head for a few minutes wondering wtf was stopping me taking it off. Not in any hurry to take it off again, though putting it back on was a breeze.

Do you think this can be done without taking the bumper off? the car will be up on the hoist so will be easy to get under the car.
    thanks.

yep quite a few people have done it up on a hoist instead of removing the bumper.

I did this job last night. With 2 of us working on it, drinking beers and chatting along the way, it took 2 hours from starting to take the front bar off till we got the bar back on an closed the bonnet. It was a hell of slot easier than expected.
