Got it off one of the forum members a little while back. I had a tough time trying to locate one before that though, only place I could see them were in the UK and they wanted crazy amounts for postage.

Last night I went to the drags at Willowbank. Thought I'd give it another shot to see if I could crack a lower time. Managed a new PB on my first run which was a 13.5, which was followed by 2x 13.7, a 13.6 then someone on a bike dumped a huge lot of trans fluid. After about 45 mins waiting for that to be cleaned up, they called out that our next run was our last runs of the night.
On my last run I managed a 13.41 @ 107.5MPH, another PB and from what we know and that has been recorded, that's the fastest time in a 9n3 GTI in Aus! I do believe there is more in it too, the car was sitting for long periods of time in between runs which made heat soak set in pretty quickly.
Here's all my slips from last night.

Crickey I was proud that I'd gotten my 60ft times down to 2.70's at the hillclimbs. consistent 2.30's is quick and 2.14 is mental. wavetrac?

How are you launching? I turn the ESP button off, hold it against the hand brake with about 1800-2000rpm, come up to the friction point of the clutch and then launch. I have time to do all that though because in hillclimbs you go when you are ready after the light goes green and timing starts when you break a beam. Our 60 ft splits are hardly ever level and not as much rubber in the launch area, but still 2.142 or whatever you got seems quick!
brilliant time congrats. gives me a time to aim for if i end up with a bigger turbo
I launch a bit higher, about 3000rpm, handbrake on, traction off, ride the clutch slightly for the first metre or two then release it fully. I can't just dump the clutch otherwise it just freespins badly, even if I launch at lower RPM. The 2.1 60ft felt bloody good. I knew as soon as I launched it that it was going to be a good run.
