    It's in and puffing like a champ, happy as;
    One thing tho, the bov is touching this part of motor unknown to me, it's round and flat from the top seen the photo below, I'm now concerned that two metal bits are going to be banging and grinding... What should I do to rectify, I was thinking something similar to a motorbike brake reservoir sock type a solution
    Suggestions?

    Its the combi valve. Its rock solid too so there'll be a bit of contact. Combis and DV's get hot so whatever you use make sure its heat resistant.

    Hi guys

    Total noob here when it comes to mods
    This valve is adjustable? Ie if you don't want it too loud you can adjust the percentage of it venting to atmosphere or recirculated back to the turbo?
    I'd like a little more sound but don't want it loud, my car is already a police magnet being the only 1 of 2 in the region, minus visitors.
    Can someone post an eBay link with the correct valve to fit 6C GTI ?

    Yes Harrydhilton it's adjustable, I'm set to about half and it's plenty loud, might turn it down a tad

    Thanks sambb for the tip, a stubby cooler over the combi valve worked a treat, now the bov has something soft to lean against and all the rubber hoses are protected too. I'll post a pic soon.
    Here is the link, black one sold out and not available now, polished alloy looks good though
