Sorry Clay not looking good for Happy Laps but with any luck all my new bushes, bracing and new alignment setting should be finished to ensure some high speed go cart action at Lakeside. Unless this Brisbane heat melts my tyers before then

All that aside I've got a bit of an announcement to make! With the support of our friendly forum sponsor/moderator and all round good guy Gavin Walsh from Optimum Code - it looks like the Devil is set to have a crack in the Club Sprint category in the World Time Attack Challenge! The planning has been underway for a little while now and time permitting we may make this years event in October @ Sydney Motorsport Park. It's a very ambitious time frame and if we experience too many hurdles then at worst the debut may have to be postponed to next year but you never know your luck. Stay tuned for updates as the class rules are yet to be finalised for this year and I have been told there are some changes that will effect our setup. But the good news is a majority of rule changes are in the Devils favour as far as vehicle type (no high performance or super cars), weight restrictions, aero modifications and controlled tyre specifications now being introduced. And best of all no pro drivers as the registered owner has to pilot there own vehicle to keep the category a true street registered grass roots "drivers" category. We are counting on our very ambitious power to weight ratio goal to make us competitive. We see this as a fun an involving project and learning curve and are not expecting any miracles but will give it our best. That being said any help and feedback are most welcome!
So now with all the underbody bracing on the car plus the anti-lift bushes (all excellent improvements as enjoyed by my fiance who I finally managed to convince to be my co-pilot last month around Lakeside) the next and safest modification we have planned are some items from Brembo

Nice update there.
I would reccomend getting along to some of the actual sprint series and maybe a hillclimb at mt cotton to get some more varied experience.
The registered driver rule will make it interesting for sure!

Awesome update. Ill have a closer look at that series as I'd been looking into Tarmac rally events at Xmas, but couldn't find any in qld.
More track time and driver training will be of great help. Even some time on forza or gt5 with a good set up will help with lines and where to look.
