Bit slow going lately but a small update

The last of the cockpit bling has arrived and in

Aluminum dead pedal cover from ebay. Looks even better in person too.

Plus APR high performance fuel pump is in also. Maybe placebo but car does feel a little more wild. Was getting a low intermittent knock code before but now seems all good. Can't wait to see what happens on Guy's new dyno next Saturday! Hopefully AFR is sorted now, but if not then time to upgrade the injectors.

So also cleaned the air filter for the first time today. Been about 20,000kms since it went on. Was actually cleaner than I thought it was going to be with only a few larger bits of crap that had been sucked all the up to the filter but nothing to worry about. Here are some pics of the heat insulation on the inside

And here is a shot of the K&N filter with a aluminum cone screwed on top to make the velocity stack. Really great unit this for the price and effect.

And the massive thanks again to Greg for Carformance for the shift bushings and new awesome 42 DD ultimate catch can (new set up coming soon) The shift bushing took a little while to loosen up but now shifting is superb and very precise!

So next to arrive are all the Samco coolant hoses and clips then I think it might be turbo time

Howdy, well it was a excellent day out at Harding Performance on Saturday. I'm sure all the data will be very well analysed and posted soon. But here are my individual efforts

Very happy to see the upgraded fuel pump has done the job as you can see the peak of the torque curve has no retardation now! All in all the peak figures won't mean much until Sharkie posts the analysis of all the Polo's from the day. But I'm very happy with the consistency of all the runs which is largely due to SEAT intercooler which experienced no heatsoak what so ever!
