What brands are the boost gauge and holder?
Where'd you get them from?
I'm looking at doing this soon
Update!
New boost gauge arrived. Think I mentioned earlier that the metal senders in the engine bay keep on frying because of the heat so I ditched them just for the boost gauge as it has a plastic sender that was mounted on the right hand side of the ECU cover and away from the nasty heat. This meant filling the space above the singe din head unit where the three old gauges were with a singe din VW pocket and moving to the air vent pod set up for the boost gauge
Only problem was at night the gauge was totally distracting because it reflected so brightly in the side mirror and was a little dangerous when going to change lanes as you couldn't see squat.
So went with a darker blue gauge that matches the taco and it's dimmable too. Looks really good in the flesh and on boost the analogue sweep screams around the outside and it also has the digital readout in the middle!

Cheers VWindahouse! how long did it take to get to you?
I see the holder is from the UK, is the gauge itself local or overseas?

No worries! They took about two weeks to arrive and I bought them both directly from those links. It's a great gauge, you'll love it.
Does the gauge dim down to the same brightness as the speedo/tach instruments? Looks good, I'm after a similar setup that wont stand out too much.
The photo's are a little deceiving sorry guys. It's not quite as bright as it looks and can be dimmed down via a little turn knob on the back of the gauge also. The middle photo where I used the flash is more acurate than the others I took in a pitch black garage with no camera flash.
These seem pretty impressive gauges. I think I'll get one (probably digital series) to replace my mechanical boost gauge.
Any chance of an under bonnet photo to show how you mounted the sender, and where you tapped into for the electrical feed?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry this is the best photo I have
The sender is screwed onto the ECU cover and the wiring feed through the fire wall.
