Tops seem pretty good, be good to hear back how it goes, the 6N2 tops are the same but not sure if same size though. thats a fair difference in consumption with the wing.
Love the look with the RPF1's and the wing.
Is it still within the height regulations for WTAC?

Looking more purposeful now Ant. Love the brakes and the camber tops. Will certainly look the part when circulating the track, perhaps not so purposeful on the commute to work though, lol.
The wing is running lots of rake on it so you'll be getting lots of drag which'll impact top speed. An old mate ran a similarly sized wing on his GT Starlet, took some fiddling to find a balance. I was going to ask about fuel consumption after looking at the pics too, lol.
Was going to comment on the wing angle as well. Looks too steep atm, but then I'm comparing it against superkarts, F3, GT cars where I'm a little more familiar. Have you got a profile pic of the wing without the wingplates on it ? as from the pics I'd say you almost want that leading surface flat (level with the ground) as it has the upward sweep at the end on it. Will be interested to see your results, especially once you add the front splitter.
Cheers Clay! Unfortunately it's about 6.5cms higher than the roof line at it's highest point so closer to the event will have to get a shorter pedestal engineered. But we may have a new game plan to help warm up as such to a big event like WTAC. We are now thinking of joining the local Time Attack series held at Lakeside and QR throughout the year then go down to Sydney for the big one. The advantage of this is we can enter in the first two classes - Street and Performance. The only difference is Street has no aero allowed and you must have street tyres (no Semi's) then Performance aero is unrestricted and you can use semi's So we can run in both if we wanted with a little bit of on track modification.
Mate you would like chatting to Kevin actually, right up your ally and I'm sure he could make something to fit the silver rocket!
Thanks Sean! Yeah a bit wankerish for the trip to work lol! For the rake yes you're right we did notice that but it's actually the lowest setting as well as being naturally lower because of the slope of the roof. I might send a picture to APR to see what they think.
Thanks Dean, I'll get a shot without the plates as you suggest to see, but as I said I don't think I can get it any flatter
Can't wait for the splitter but won't have it until after the next outing to Lakeside which might work in my favour actually to see what it adds to the equation.
Cheers!
Cool, ill be keen to grab his contact info mate
Cheers

Here you go bud 02 9556 1799 it actually diverts to his mobile so just let it ring out.
Most of what he says goes over my head but you'll drink it up like mothers milk
Just had a look through the gallery section on the APR site and found another hatchback with the same wing and it seems to be at the same angle of attack (as they call it) I just have the drag style side plates to reduce the overall height.
And they say this about the design
All GTC Series wings feature an aerodynamic 3D designed airfoil shape to obtain the optimal balance of downforce. This design allows for a reduction in drag, yet maintains an ideal level of downforce. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analyses were performed on these wings to support validation of their aerodynamic design.
With some good technical data about the wing here

Thoughts?
You'll be best to answer your own question after some track time and recording you max speeds with differing set ups.
That's a solid point mate, guess I finally need that G-tech upgrade!
