Haha here I was thinking I was keeping up with you! Nothing like a bit of mutual motivation I guess
Haha that's funny; That's probably one of the motivations that made me consider the GT2860R recently... On the corners it might be a different story but I had absolutely no top end to keep up with the thing on the straight. Can't wait mateCan't wait to tear that TT drive a new one at happy laps.
Doesn't matter where you get the motivation from as long as it's motivating
Anyway new bits!!
Those drop links look tuff, nicer than the whiteline ones I had a while back that froze up with a little grit.
Yeah pretty solid to hold put still relatively light weight!
What's wrong with this picture?? Shiny new actuator from Forge but no turbo
It's loaded with a yellow spring to match the upcoming boost levels!
And the engine bling I mentioned earlier. Out with the old.....
Trial fit the 3" MAF housing. Just trimmed the inside of the existing Forge TIP.
Hopefully I can do the same with the turbo end as the turbo inlet has gone from a 45mm diameter to 50mm.
Also took out the old head unit to make way for the new one. All wired up and working but having the same issue as Sam. Trimmed off the guides on the side but she still sits proud On a positive note I managed to feed the USB and Ipod cables through to under the steering column which give easy access and can't be seen from outside the car. You can just see the cables on the right of the photo
Not sure yet if I like the position of the GPS antenna
The rear also got a bit more Devilish

lol want to see if I can bend a rod with the one coming so I have an excuse to stroke the little bugger and go a truck turbo sticking out of the bonnet
Go compound - then you can get some real boost happening
