    FK AK Streetline Coilies?

I'm running them with no issues. Apart from being a tad bit bumpy when initialy fitted, they've settled in nicely now
and gives me some nice low

    Hi,
i was very impressed whist ready your thread...you really have done a fair amount of work on your car -- looks great, and i am sure it goes just as well.
i am looking at putting in a boost gauge, but then saw your link...it looks very good and unobstrusive by putting three gauges above the raidio. can you tell me what car you got the radio cover from... and any suggestions on the gauge makes i would buy....
    thanks

Smead, thanks for the photo's. Your Polo looks immaculate and they're some amazing shots of it. What size tyres are you running with the Tocattas?

clicht, thanks a bunch. It's been a great project so far! To answer your gauge questions. I am selling my triple gauge face for $20 if you want it? I like the Prosport gauges although the fuel and oil senders were installed right next to the engine so the heat eventually got to them. They can be intalled further away or heat shielded.

As for my suspension problems from the last track day. It turns out one of the front Koni struts needed a rebuild and I had torn the thread from the shorter drive shaft. The bolt was just floating around in the hub Jimmy always said the weak point polo's with bucket loads of torque would be the dirve shafts. I think from the last dyno day I had about 365 - 375nm atw (hard to see excactly on the graph) and I definatlely have more beans since then. So got a driveshaft from an Audi A3 put in. Looks much stronger and better bolt configeration. I will post pictures tonight of it all.

aaaaah, that sounds beter haha. not going to take the holder, as that would mean i would need to but 3 gauges and install 3, and to boot, i would need to buy a new radio/cd.... rather i will get a boost gauge only, however it still looks awesome -- great car !!!

So did your car feel much better on the track, more consistent/stable front end? Will have to try stick together at the next tack day (I hope).

I've also got grand turismo 5 and a racing simulator at home if you want to come round for some head to head racing. Its great for working on racing lines and bloody good fun regardless
