You can get sealed deep-cycle batteries which are quite small (such as the odyssey) for like $350... I would not waste $899 on this solution :)

yeah i looked at the price and nearly fell over, though it does last 5 to ten years. most run of the mill batteries only last round 3 years, and if your forking out 200-250 a pop it such a bad price. though like i said it was only an idea. truth be told i didnt realise the odysey was so small, and it sounds like a much better option
Here's a kit - not specifically for the Polos (I should have posted this with the other link), but should be easy enough to make it work and look decent.

The Deka comes from BatteryWorld.
Interesting link on the momentum site to a thread on vwvortex too.
I have a Odyssey PC680 battery for sale. Never used just needs a charge. $270 + free postage.
Here is a neater solution that also strips 1.8kg out of the car by removing the battery tray completely. Deka battery ETX18L

what kinda car is that for though? is the battery good enough to run a polo?
GUYS battery size does not make them stronger... just last longer.
Small Dry Cell batteries like the DEKA are higher quality usually and produce higher CCA.
So asking whether it will run a polo or anything else is pointless. IT produces more than 700CCA which could start a v12.
IT just won't sit for hours while u blast stezza.
