Any way to turn off the ABS on my '07 Polo GTI?

I did pull the fuse today... It had a fit and started chimes and flashing lights on the dash and wasn't generally very happy at all!

Was thinking of moving the wheel speed sensors away from the pick-ups...?

I think, you need to put the car on a dyno roller, then just drive it , then ABS light will come on. not sure if that deactivate the ABS though (front wheels are spinning back wheels arent, so ECU thinks something wrong).

Having done a motorkhana day before, I reckon turning off ESP will suffice. Is it a training day or competition?

Was just a practice day. Had an absolute ball. Top fun.

I thought the ABS was going to be a bit too intrusive, but it would appear not.
