    Kw V2

Just had the KW V2 fitted on my GTI today, feels great. The only thing I don't understand was that there is no rebound adjustment available on the back. I thought the rebound adjustment can be done both front and back for the KW Variant 2.

A reflash may be the next mod for my car. Still Deciding whether to go for APR or GIAC. Inmotive does GIAC, so they recommend it. Has anyone had their Polo flashed??? APR or GIAC?? What's the power like? 150KW?

I had the trial APR flash last friday and it was fantastic. I am definitely getting one. Hopefully sooner than later. The power is very useablei didnt notice any torque steer but i wasnt launching it hard. But in first gear at roughly 3000rpm with the foot planted you will get wheel spin. Unfortuneatly there is no giac dealer up here so i havent been able to try it.

    OK, I'm going to ask....what's a KW V2?

(I know, I work in IT where acronyms are a way of life, but I must admit I can get confused in the big wide world )

From what i have heard and read is that they can detect it if they look hard enough, but generally they wont bother. It can void your warranty if they can prove that it was the direct cause of the problem. But oettinger offer some sort of warranty but it cost more i think. Guy H could answer that.

If im wrong please correct me.

The trial flash shouldn't be too hard to detect as it erases the OEM software leaving tuners on there with reduced boost and new Air/Fuel map after five hours...

I have had the GIAC flash and are very happy with it there is a update soon to be as well for the Giac software for the Polo. With the Giac flash my boost spikes to 1.4 bar feels good

As for the dealerships depends how nice u are if u are going to start replacing blown gear boxes i think they may care lol.

Also Seb gives great after sales service u could prob go there 3am and he still be up working lol
