Already offered mate, have been talking to Gavin and a few others.
APR is not designed to work with turbo's other than the ones they supply (don't have to get it from them).
Biggest concern is the other parts you need, depending on which tuner you speak with, would not be hard to spend another thousand (or a few) just on supporting mods:
Injectors
Fuel Pressure regulator
Exhaust manifold / intake gasket.
Fuel Pump
Intercooler
Dump pipe / exhaust / decat
TIP / Seat intake / pod filter
Clutch / Flywheel / Diff (LSD)
3" maf housing
intake manifold
pistons / gaskets
diverter valve
suspension mods are a whole different issue (front swaybar set to hard helps).
Exactly what you "need" and what is "advisable" depends who you are talking to.
Ive been told by reputable tuners not to bother.. You will get almost no extra power and increased lag..
I also have spoken to a person who installed a K04 and they were underwelmed.
I strongly considered this when i owned mine.. looked under every rock for info and decided against it.
A modestly-uprated hybrid like the F4h will work fine with any off-the-shelf map. APR's K04-001 works great, especially in any car which has a vTune compatible ECU.
...and also upon the software file you select. Even when fitting a hybrid turbo, it really is the software that determines the "needs" for hardware.
