you got that right, silver is truly FTW.....except i have to wash my bonnet every 15 mins

my last car was silver and i was more than happy to get another one....i only really have to wash it every fortnight because it stays/looks clean for ages. it's only really when the front wheels go a bit black i get it washed.

I have a 150m long driveway that is white dust.

I'd prefer to have a car that looks good (black) rather than one I don't have to clean (white, silver etc)

my last car was black, and its a colour I will never go back to...It did look great when it was clean, but 15 minutes after that it needed a wash again!!! Hehehehe, having the black bonnet now reminds me of that!!!
Also, I was reading a study that was done on trade ins, and it was found that Black and Slver cars have the better resale value over other cars...I think yellow came out as the worst...

i'm not surprised....i think yellow is a horrible colour on a car (unless you are driving a Ferrari F430 or 355 Spider ). it seems as though yellow and red are the colours that fade the fastest....just speaking from experience

i genuinely believe cars in black or silver look the best and i most probably would not choose any other colour (apart from if i was be lucky enough to drive one of the abovementioned Ferrari's )......but hey....thats just my opinion

Hahahahaha, with yellow being that bad, lets not forget the colours Ford put on their BA Falcons...Acid Wash and that baby poo brown/green...Imagine the resale on those!!!

My current car the SSS pulsar is black and thats what made me go for another colour. As others have said they look great cleaned up but very high maintenance.

My old RX7 was silver and didn't ever look dirty, until the week I was selling it i gave it a polish and never noticed how dirty it really was.

I've had dark coloured cars previously and found that they get very much hotter in the cabin than lighter coloured cars ... use the aircon a great deal more to compensate ... one of the many reasons I prefer white.

yeah that (along with the keeping clean part) was a contributing factor to not buying a black car. silver is definitely not a dark car and handles quite well under the sun.
i get horrible hayfever and prefer the window down over the A/C (sneeze sneeze), so i needed a car that would not heat up enough to NEED A/C.

well it seems like i have to wait another 2-3 weeks to get my car. It is currently in Melbourne and is (supposedly) out of the dealers control on when it gets to Brisbane.

    this wait is killing me
