Timbo, in order to get to the 250-280 HP i want, i am going to have to upgrade a lot of things, the stock airbox and induction mouth will not support this amout of horsepower full stop (.) if you up the amount of boost you are producing... you should in turn up the amount of air the turbo can receive and get rid of... thats why airbox and exhaust mods are essential. im not going to put a pod filter into the equation at all, as this would wreck the whole idea of getting a ram air effect. A high flow panel filter and other induction mods such as enlarging the diameter of the inlet into the airbox as well as "smoothing" it out will allow you to flow a lot more air.
I guess what im trying to say is... go put a KO4 on your motor and leave your induction the same as it is now... then to compare, go and free your inlet and airbox up a bit, and tell me it doesnt make a difference.
