If you introduce that I'll need to know your account details so I can set my salary to go straight into your account

You can get Racing Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in 17x7.5 for a little over AU$1,400.

I been wanting these wheels for a while. There is also an Australian distributor based in Sydney. I have not yet gotten around to contacting XHP Wheels to get a quote.

I contacted http://www.customwheelsdirect.com/ and this is the reply e-mail they sent regarding postage:

    Hello,

Thank you for the inquiry. Right now we have:

Pro Race 1.2 Black +38mm - In stock

Pro Race 1.2 Silver +38mm - In stock

The freight cost to Australia on a set of 4-17" wheels would be at $475.00 USD. We also have the complete installation complete with tuner lugnuts, socket adapter and valve stems for $65.00 extra.

For the freight, we can send by air-freight to your nearest international airport for pick-up at the terminal. For payment, we can only accept bank wire transfer on all orders outside the US. It usally takes about a few days for the bank wire to go through, and as soon as it does, we can ship the order. It's about 7-10 days after that to reach Australia.

cool, so $1400 AUD + Duty & GST (if you get away with 5% duty) that makes it $1617. Then you need local freight from your "international airport" to your local address (around ~$120) so they would cost you $1737 + any other charges you may get stung with.

And if you get one damaged in transit?

Anyway - we are at least $17 dollars cheaper (wow), but its always good to compare numbers

Well if you split them up and send them to two different addresses it'll be under the $1k limit and you wont have to pay any duty.
