Why would you paint badges black for? thats bodgy as. "Rice" even.

Also those who paint the bonnet black or put stripes on them, if you want a black bonnet buy a black car.

I dont do $20 mods (Paint black badges) because you cant afford proper stuff, go buy APR gear and do it properly. For gods sake

As said above, black badges were standard oem equipment on older GTI's.

Maybe the people who have extra paint wanted an individual look, who are you to tell people what colour car they should own?

If you want an older GTi, buy an older GTi..

If you buy a white car and then want it black? why not buy a black car in the first place?

Using your argument, if you wanted a car with a 1.8T badge on it, you should have bought an Audi A4/A3.

Maybe they wanted a zebra car (white and black) as VW does not do this paint scheme from the factory.
