Gee, you are one to talk with your old junk VW..

Why would you paint badges black for? thats bodgy as. "Rice" even.

Also those who paint the bonnet black or put stripes on them, if you want a black bonnet buy a black car.

I dont do $20 mods (Paint black badges) because you cant afford proper stuff, go buy APR gear and do it properly. For gods sake

he spent his $ on quality parts and even got the inspection done before it was sold.. and wen springs r cut, you'l def feel it and would no where near look stock height.

I didnt... Ask the new owner to post up his inspection report to bring his argument to dust.

Exactly.. Like I said post up the inspection report. the suspension was stock at time of sale.. APR has done all the mods at premium prices..

Looks like VW thunder has exposed himself as the spring hacker..

Troy hasnt said that you cut the springs. He has said that they had been cut. Accusing him of doing it is a bit rich. The car was low when he bought it from you.
Not long after troy got the car. He brought it around to show it off to me and we had a look at the springs. At that point it was my opinion that they had been cut. (jagged edge on the stock looking springs)

So. The only options are. VW supplied the car with the springs cut from the factory or a previous owner cut them. If you werent the first owner of the car then perhaps it was done without your knowledge.

Troy has had a few problems I dont think he said they were your fault. Its everyone else that seems to be giving you a hard time, not him.. So perhaps direct your abuse that way.

Dude, it's called tradition/history. It was how the first GTIs were delivered...

A 1.8T badge would be a ricey $20 mod would it not???

As said above, black badges were standard oem equipment on older GTI's.

Maybe the people who have extra paint wanted an individual look, who are you to tell people what colour car they should own?

Hey by saying the car had a few issues is very ambiguous and so supports others wishing to give me a hard time. If you say something be clear about it. The ambiguous nature of these supposed issues implies that I knew about them and delivered the car in a bad state. thats not the case..

    1. Post up the inspection report
    2. Describe these "issues"

If you want an older GTi, buy an older GTi..

If you buy a white car and then want it black? why not buy a black car in the first place?
