Chipped, Murphy's law will soon take place and a puncture will occur

i'd much rather the extra weight and have a spare if i did ever need it.

roadside assist: "mate, where's your spare tyre"

chipped: "i took it out so i could shave .1 of a second off my 0-100 time"

    roadside assist:

here's a tip chipped - I discovered that the rear seat back rests are quite heavy (and come out easily ).. at a visit to the drags once, I took everything out, spare wheel, complete rear seat, you name it, ..even loose change. guess what difference it made to my times? ZERO difference

You can always buy one of those old Citroens with pneumatic suspension. If you get a flat - just take the wheel off and the car will run on three wheels.

yeah actually that would be right because pulling things out like the spare wheel, rear seat's etc. would affect the pitch/yaw of the car. the suspension has been set up for what is currently in the car. it may not be a huge total weight but enough to have an affect IMO.
