Doubt you will keep the car for that length of time !!!

But its a small price to pay in order to make sure you never have troubles with the tint or door trim.
Or if you do, it gets fixed under the new car warranty (if tint was done at dealer)

I wanted darker then legal tint. So I went to a shop. Dealers usual cost alot more too.

Mine was about $230 ... Brisbane VW dealer offered it to me for $700.

I got my old delaminated tint removed, and got re-tinted in a top quality film for $260 on my mk2...

For a straight tint, you shouldn't really pay more than $300...

i personally think that a busy experienced shop is better than a branded place. what say u?
