Hello all, I'll be heading down to the dealer in a week or two to buy myself a Polo GTI, they have a silver one with leather and sunroof comming in soon.

All up including dealer delivery it would be around $32,000 but I want to save some money and I'm not really interested in paying dealer delivery.

My problem is, living in SA there is only one place that sells the Polo so I may get screwed..

anyway, post up the deal you got and some pics.. cause I love pics.

You may find it a good idea to check out interstate dealers. I'm sure a Polo Owner over on the tex' did that and worked out a lil bit cheaper. You'd have a few diff options to get it to SA, but it may be worth calling about. Also regional dealers sometimes get small numbers of stock that they wont sell quickly.

11 months ago today I paid $32K something for my Candy White with Leather. You'll get it much cheaper now as VW went and screwed us early owners

Yeah but $26,990 was before on-road costs. I bought mine Feb 06 and (without leather or sunroof) was $26.990 + on roads bought it to almost exactly $30k.

Flaps either got an extremely good deal, or I got a dud White was the only non-metallic colour and I've still paid about $1000 more.
