How do you tell is time to change the battery?

Hey guys I was wondering how do you tell is time to change da battery?

Cuz I saw a green indicator on the battery itself (I guess it is)??
Is it showing the battery level? Cuz i have this battery almost 1.5 years

    Thx guys~

You know it's time to change the batter when it no longer holds any charge. They usually last about 5-10 years so need to be concerned yet unless it's faulty.

Expected life is 3 years - They sometimes last much longer but not often!

Read your manual / the top of the battery.

Sometimes things like that can mean it needs some water added. (If its not the sealed type)

Ignore the little green dot, it's supposed to be green when it's good and black when it's not. (and somewhere in between if it's good but needs a charge).

The local autoelec said those little things screw up alot, as long as it's still holding charge and cranking the car easily it's all good.
