Hey Velly what did you mean by "keep it on the black stuff"??

I got it for 26990 drive away. VW are currently having a sale on 07 stock but mine is an 08.
I have a few questions though.
    1. Do you need to use fuel which isnt unleaded?
    2. Is paint/leather/carpet protection important?
    3. Should I get black plates or white plates with the car?

    Im a very indecisive person

you need to use premium unleaded
paint protection and what not is a money spinner for the dealer
    what colour is it?

    G'day Bec,

I'm due to pick up my Golf GTI next week and can't wait!
I personally wouldn't worry about the paint/leather/carpet protection - I've got it in my other car, and I've never needed it, or claimed anything...
Also - I always say go the Euro plates if you are prepared to pay the $$$...they look hot on Euro cars...

    Hi GTI-SYD!
Im going overseas this coming sunday and so I've asked to pic up the car when I get back. My dad's offered to pick the car up for me, but I want to drive away from the dealer in my new car! Im not too sure though, if I can trust them holding the car for a month
I think I will cancel the paint/carpet/leather protection. It cost me $2000
    Thanks for letting me know~
And yes I'm going with the Euro plates but I jsut can't decide whether I want white or black. Im thinking black plates on black car will look too mean for me!

Personally I like the white - more 'authentic'...the black does look nice, but it kinda stops looking like Euro plates... Not sure where you're heading, but I'm a bit of a Europhile...love Europe...so love to think I'm in my own little part of Europe when I'm sitting in traffic on Victoria Rd!

Oh and sorry to bombard you's with these questions,
but can anyone recommend tinting places?
VW offer to tint for 695 but I'm sure I can get it for cheaper elsewhere
    thanks
