Looking at buying a polo gti. Test drove one yesterday..jeez there fun to drive.

There's only 2 in Adelaide ATM. One is a 06 with more ks and the other is a 08. The 06 has a sunroof which is a feature I really like and Its a dealer with 3 month warranty. Both have been serviced by the books.

I'll post links which would you guys go for?

Cheers mate. I'm kinda sold on the leather seats and sunroof. It gives a little more class to the car.

But I'm gonna check out the 08 one on the w.e hopefully just to see what its like how clean it is etc.

What price could I get it done too without low balling

It's what it's worth to you, I can't make that call for you. Mine was $4000 but I have spent loads upgrading since.

Gavin's cheapy but getting more expensive GTI ;)

I have the only Polo I can think of that has needed a turbo. So I wouldn't worry about needing one.

With appropriate supporting mods you can safely achieve over 140kw atw with standard turbo. Beyond that you've got K04, frankenturbo and hybrids, probably others too. That's up from about 90kw atw they put out standard. Traction becomes quite a challenge beyond that.
