Guys, anyone got one of these with the original airbox in place?

I have one, fits over the box with enough clearance, however you will need to remove the brace to get into the air-box..

Did you notice much of a difference once fitted?

To be honest not really, the most I noticed was it helped balance out the UR rear sway bar, made turn in a bit sharper, the swaybar actually introduced a little more understeer in cornering

Mate any chance you could post a photo of the clearance between the underside of the bar and top of the airbox with a ruler? Here's mine,

I'm trying to figure out if I can get the ultra racing brace over my airbox...

Judging by that pic it will be a tight fit, maybe by a few mill if your lucky, will grab you the measurements in the next day or so

I can only just fit my finger between the box and the bar

How are you finding the custom airbox?

It fits! That's the important thing. The photo is misleading, it's shorter than the stock one by about 5 mm but taller by the same amount just where the snorkel turns through lid of the box. Hoping it'll fit, just depends on where the bar crosses the top of the box. If you could post up a top down photo square to the box lid it'd help a heap too.
