GTI polo going for 26,990...How much did you actually paid for yours?

i asked the salesmen, so how much extra do i have to pay if i want to add sunroof?

he went to the manager and goes , we can't add them since its a factory option...

im thinking that cant be right.... anyone installed sunroof after purchasing their GTI? if so how much extra?

They are factory fitted and I really doubt that any VW dealer would have the necessary skills and experience to fit one. It is a very specialised job and I could just imagine the first year VW dealer's apprentice hacking into the roof of a nice new car.

You would have to go aftermarket, there are specialists that do this type of work. Google is your friend

I have to devide whether I want a white GTI with leather, May 08 build (so basically fresh off the boat) and six year warranty for $28,950 driveaway. Thoughts?

I'd like a darker tint though so probably do that after I buy it. And I'm not interested in the iPod adapter since reading about it as it is fairly limited.

well basically you're paying $1960 more for the leather package, which is ok i'd say.

try getting it down to $28000 hahaha (doubt, they'll do it but worth the ttry) , but i'll definitely take it for $28500.

Tried $28,500 already but they couldn't do it. Still think its a pretty good price though.

well you've walked out from the dealer, they must've got your mob or home # right??

well just wait couple of days... they'll call you back, when they do just tell them you're willing to put the down payment for $28,500...
