You're just a few minutes down the road from Guy (APR). PM Guy_H on here if you want to talk to him. He'll also be able to help you with all the other things you want to do with your car.

Other tuners in Brisbane are not really handy AFAIK.

the pic on the right is what I'm going for.

that one from memory is running KW coilovers, on 16"x 9 wheels, front bumpers been shaved, notch from the old grill has been filled in and has the badgless grill.

body work will cost you big $$$ and I gave up trying to find a nice set of 16x9 in aus only option I found where to get custom made wheels or import again big $$$

Big ups for going black... just hope you like car detailing cos its a bitch to keep clean.

Hi All,

Have been lurking for the past week while doing research on my next car, have decided to move ahead with getting a 2006+ Polo GTi.

At this stage I'll be looking to have it chipped and change to 17" Kuro Intake with goodyear eagle F1 rubber.

Being that I've never been the biggest car nut, I'm looking to get my hands dirty with this project and educate myself as much as possible.

I was hoping I might be able to get everyone's two cents on other mods I should get done, recommendations on where to get chipping and rim changovers done in Brisbane as well as any other recommendations you can offer such as which year model to go for 06-09.

Looking to make the purchase on my return from Japan in the first week of July.

Look forward to hearing from you all, and becoming an active member of the forum.

yeah 17's. Needs lowering but i didnt want to spend any more money on it since i'm selling it soonish

they came from tempe with the usual tempe kumho ku31's. Pretty average rubber but certainly cheap

Intresting you should say that, I'm interested in the white version of the Lenso M's and they didn't want to quote the tyres I enquired about (quoted with the Kumo's).

I got the 18 inch version but I think the 17s look sweet too. Not much difference in look between the 17 and 18 on that wheel.
