Hi Steve, I recently put on RDA slotted rotors and Lucus brake pads from Greg who works at GSL Rally Sport in the sponsor section. PM him on gslrallysport for really good prices and great products.
Hi guys,
Was wondering if you guys could recommend me some brake discs for a polo GTI 1.8t which wont cost a fortune but are a decent bit of kit. Any info would be magic. Thanks
Steve

Call your local HSY. They should be able to sort out a set of discs for the right price. As for pads, its all up to you and your driving style.
I've got slotted 312mm discs on mine and i'm about to pull them off. I hate the vibration they give at high speed. Unless you're giving it an absolute pasting, stick with standard type ones.
I got offered RDA slotted rotors at Auto Barn for $130 each, and EBC Green Pads for $140 for a set of fronts. I think this is a bargain, so it may be worth checking out. If you have any trouble looking up the part number for the RDA discs for the Polo GTI, they are the same part number as the MK4 Golf GTI.

lol...cool.
been looking at brake upgrades but for 15 inch wheels- doubt the polo gti brakes will fit under 15 inch wheels, so imma look into the rda and ebc stuff.
(guy at my local autobarn-chadstone-is a fan of turbo'ed vw's. i'll milk some info outta him next time i go).
polo gti brakes would be good- i guess i'll be happy in the meantime if i could get slotted rotors to fit my calipers, and ebc greenstuff.
just to keep things simple.... as i heard master cylinder on gti is different than on the tdi.. and i dont know if thats a bad thing or not.
