The sound came back again this weekend… most evident between 60-80 KMH..
This morning quite as a snake… whats going on???
Ive booked it in for later this week
It would seem that there is obviously several places where these creaks & squeaks seem to eminate from. I guess a mechanic is the best bet for a proper diagnosis.

I get a squeak/rattle that seems to be coming from the rear right wheel area, maybe spring or suspension thing. But it comes and goes, depending on ambient temperature. The colder it is, the more obvious the noise.

hi all,
have confirmed with the dealership its something with the suspension.. weird my susp is still stock, maybe its the cold weather cause as it has been getting warmer nowadays i noticed it squeaking less...
I've recently had my radiator and front brake rotars replaced. Ever since, I've been hearing a squeak (only when the engine is warm) coming from the front of my car somewhere.
VW diagnosed it as the brake rotors (being after market), but I had them replaced with originals yesterday. I can still hear a squeak, usually when I de-cellerate in high gear, turning slightly left or right or going over small dips on a road. I'm thinking it must be related to when I had my radiator replaced and after reading your post, the radiator mounts. Was this the same problem you had?
Sounds different mate, has it changed at all? Can you give more detail?
All sorted now. I took it back and the problem was a loose on the calipers. Glad I can drive without that annoying squeak sound.
I'm also getting the occasional groan from the suspension when driving the car for the first time in a couple of days - it's garaged for anywhere between 5-10 days and the first drive afterwards is always groan-tastic.
I'm on stock everything so no idea what it is! Only been noticing it during the colder months though, so I'm jumping to the same conclusion as everybody else.

Hi There,
Did you managed to find the root cause? I'm on stock and had a similar "ambient-temperature" prone squeak on my rear left. I've tried removing the rear suspension, remoce the under-fender trim and couldn't find the cause. But after removal of the under-fender trims, i realised the rear fender seems to have 2 layers of metal. there could be wiring running through the metals that expand/contract when the temp changes....now still figuring out how to remove the trims to find the root cause...
my suspension (well what i thaught was my suspension) started squeaking about a year back, turned out it was the after market sway bar bushes. i just got them to tighten them up at the dealership. could it be the stock bushes being the root cause?
