Unhappy Goodbye fellow polo fans - thanks

Sadly I recently traded my little 2006 blue polo gti in.

What can I say that most here do not already know? It is a fantastic car. This forum provided plenty of know-how, advice and inspiration. I have been quietly lurking for a few years now - just enjoying my well sorted ride. It is such a rewarding car to mod - you get massive results and a car that is still easy to drive and reliable. I would like to thank Jmac for his expert help and knowledge over the last 4 odd years. I think that having a great mechanic turning the spanners made all the difference on my VW journey.

leitch is now running lots of my old gear. Great to see it go to a good home. Have fun Andrew

Still following the Little Red Devil build - Anthony that is one satanic little car you have there. If you ever go to sell that be sure to let me know - I will find the $$ and a garage for that car any day.

Upgraded to a new black manual Scirocco R. I had to keep it in the VW family. It is all nice shiny and new so I will try and resist the mod urge (at least for a while). I will post up a writeup on the Scirocco page. My first impressions are that it is a worthy successor - it is quick, well sorted and comfortable place to be.

    Thanks

    Ben

ps I have a set of lowered HR springs and Bilstein Strut/shock setup in good condition (with about 15k km on them) up for grabs to a well deserving home. Make me an offer if you are interested. I will post up some more details on the parts for sale page.

    Hi everyone

Can confirm that the suspension is gooone (to Quote Jasn78 ). Had the pleasure of being taken for a run with Jason last night. Certainly faster than I ever got my polo to go (it boosts soo hard). There remains a question that Jason and I will need to go to the drags to sort out

Jimmy will be busy man ahead of happy laps.
