Golf GTI 17 x 7.5 for my POLO GTI

Dear GTi POLOists,

I was thinking of going slightly wider and bigger in terms of wheel size and I love the current standard "euro" wheels that came on my POLO gti.
I was wondering if anyone knows if you can fit the GOLF GTI 17" x 7.5's on the POLO GTi which was 16" x 6.5, has anyone tried this?
tempetyres have replicas but not sure if they'd fit? and they seem to have no idea.

errr no if you are talking about the Golf MkV GTI wheels they are 5x112 ours are 5x100

You can't go any bigger than 215/35 tyres on 18s. On 17s, 205/40 seem to be the limit. So if you want 205/40 on your wheels, get the replicas that are 5x100 stud pattern.

Ohh bugger, I'm having the same intention as Chipped. May I know if BBS RC/CH pcd? Can it fit?

On 17s, 205/40 seem to be the limit.

215/40's can be fitted on 17's, provided the car has not been completely dumped
