    Thanks

No problem with them, Simon. You just have to make sure you've bedded them back in properly.

Right Completed, all in all a 5 minute job, plus 10 minutes shouting and swearing when I lost one of the screws into the depths of the door.

Pretty easy after all. Grab one dirty polo, a small Phillips head screwdriver and a gloss B pillar, plus one "tool" and away we go:

Wind down windows, Pull back seal and Unscrew (and DON'T Loose it!)

Slide out the old one. and Slide in the new one and screw in (trying to avoid putting dirty fingerpronts all over the new gloss pillar):

Push back seal, wind up window, check then close the door, leaving a big fingerprint mark on the new gloss pillar, that you've been trying to avoid doing

Hope this helps the new Gloss pillar owners. I've got some more detaid ones if anyone is as hopeless as me!

Any ideas how i get the lost screw out of the depths of the door without removing the entire door panel?

    Thanks

    Simon

    Good work Simon!

Hopefully mine should arrive mid next to end of next week

I shall post some pics of them as my polo is silver. So far the only two pics of polos sporting the gloss pillars have been black..

    Have a great long weekend

That's because black's the best, especially for this mod

    Nice writeup Simon.

It does look sexy on a black car... Very tempting.

Can't wait to see those pics..... I think it will actually look best on either red or silver as they set the black bits off better than any of the other colours....

Silver stays the best for the car .....
