BTW this is the only column pod I know of in existence for the Polo:

    http://www.g-funktion.com/vw_interio...op/vwi034.html

But at over $200 delivered (AUD to yen is about 1 to 100 and I'll bet shipping isn't going to be cheap either) you'd have to have money burning a hole in your pocket to go for this.

It looks too glossy so chances are it will be a mis-match, ....seems to obstruct vision to the dash cluster also, mostly the tacho.

    UK Polo's

The boys over at UK Polo's are trying to get a pod made up for our Polo's. If you would be interested, register @ UK Polo's as they are trying to gauge the demand. Hopefully they can convince SWG Motorsport to make one.

Why not signup to the UK site, introduce yourself and say you'll buy 10?

Yeah I will later on tonight. I might send the instigator a message to see what his thoughts are and what sort of quanties they need to do a production run.
Im thinking it will take lot more than 10 pieces to get it off the ground. Surely they would need to produce them in volume to make it worthwhile.

Alternatively if anyone knows someone who can produce/develop the vent piece locally that may be worth looking into as well. Putting together a gauge kit after that shouldnt be very hard at all. I can certainly see there would be demand for an affordable product worldwide

I think it looks OK. Somebody should bring some in.

I am wary of the routing of the boost line though. I had some trouble routing mine to the top of the dash using the left engine bay access. I have no idea on how to get it to the drivers side and am wary of what will be requied to do so.

We need a test dummy to do a full instruction write up ....
