    g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch???

    Hi from uk-polos! I need some info on uprating my clutch and fly on my 07 polo gti, will a g60 flywhell and vr6 clutch fit or any other nk4 golf kits?? no one in uk has fit anything as yet?!

    I have been told by one of our local VW mechanics that a VR6 clutch will fit with some slight modification. Is that the kind of info you're after. This was the mechanic, Bug_racer, drop him a PM.

    It's been done a couple of times over here. I am not aware that the VR6 clutch needs to be modified in any way to make it work.

    Yeah I have done it a few times. G3 TDI solid flywheel or 16v Cupra one.

    VR6 clutch fits straight on.

    or since your getting your hands dirty anyway why dont you get a ecs clutch with a light weight flywheel.sure there more expensive but worth it in the long run.

    I just had my ECS clutch with lightweight flywheel put in yesterday...so far so good.

    how does it feel? better responce on aceleration?,..........how much did it cost you fitted?

    sorry to post off topic, though to reinforce my point before if your taking your pogo apart best to do it only once with a stronger longer lasting clutch.well thats what im doing when mine dies anyway.
